about the imprinted images:

I call the images imprinted on various items in the gallery store "urban hieroglyphs". For me, they've got a heraldic, Asian, street-graffiti, Victorian woodcut, 19th century engraving, techno feeling to them.

Mostly, they're ambiguous - something I love in images.

The Store:
Why put my images on tees and mousepads? I've given this some thought. Every museum you go to sells images from their collections imprinted all on sorts of merchandise. Twyla Tharp choreographed the ice capades and serious writers work for the movies. Maybe it's better if the sale of such items profits the artist rather than an institution . . .finally, I like them a lot and use these items myself.
